Sharina Henderson

Sharina Henderson is a Christian author, mother, and speaker. She is a member of the Nonfiction Authors Association (NFAA) and the International Association of Aspiring Authors (IAoAA).

She was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee where she attended public school and as a third grader became the grand prize winner of a poetry writing contest at the Country Music Hall of Fame where her poem was published into a song. She has always had a passion and love for writing.

After moving to Texas and starting a family, Sharina accepted God’s purpose for her life to minister through writing. She has a heart for ministering to hurting people and can relate to the pain and hurt that they face daily. As part of her testimony she shares how she’s been incarcerated, abused, grieved the death of her parents, and other trials that God has brought her through and used to help others. Sharina not only ministers through writing and speaking, but also in the areas of mentoring, crisis/suicide intervention and counseling, and serves as the youth leader and teacher in her local congregation.

Sharina continues pursuing purpose one word at a time as she shares the love of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people of all walks of life through her books. She believes that she was pained for purpose, prisoned for perspective, and positioned for promise as she desires to see others saved, healed, and set free.

Sharina also is currently enrolled as a student at Christian Leaders Institute, Grand Haven, MI, pursuing studies in ministry and divinity.
